Graduation Weekend

So the moment finally arrived- Heather graduated from college after 5 years of work and and financial struggle ( hers and mine).Anyway, it was a perfect weekend in every way. Starting with Beergardens and ending with breakfast at Parnell's on Sunday.Eric, Heather, Doug and I went to the outside bar crawl known as Beergarden's. The weather was good, the beer was good and the company was fun. Met some of Eric's and Heather's friends and got a chance to hang out and relax ( maybe a bit too much relaxing, but that's ok).







Graduation day was perfect-weather was great.It was very cool watching her walk-and receive her "diploma" ( actually just the cover, degree and diploma will be mailed).


After the ceremony, we all went over to Pete's for food and drinks. Eric cooked and decorated, it was all very nice, he did a great job- way to go boyfriend!!




The parents were all there, as well as grandparents, and friends (old and new). It all went just as planned and we all had a great time. Many drinks, beers ans shots later- we headed back to the hotel.
This morning we were all tired and or hung over ( varying degrees of each). Heather, Doug, me and Heather's friends from Hartland-Megan, Anna and Nicole .




And afterwards,Heather made the drive to Peoria to visit her sister for 2 weeks.Long drive for Heather. Doug and i came home and took a much needed nap.
