Is there such a thing as a perfect job? Definitely have not found it in my lilited experience. I am ok currently, nice to work from home, but the job itself is boring as hell. Who weants to be a claim processor? Noone. Enjoyed underwriting much more. My ideal job ( I think) would be a dog trainer. I'm sure there isnt much money in that, but if I knew what I was doing- the rewards would be great.I want to be like Cesar Milan, but in 10 yrs I think I see myself sitting right here in front of this computer.

I have my ups and downs, we all do. I am by no means a super positive pollyanna type person. But there comes a time when I just have to throw my hands up in the air, and say WTF! What is so bad in my life, in my world, that I can't find a positive place to look, to be, to emerse myself in. There is always something good going on, and it is my mission to identify that place, everyday, wherever or whatever it may be.Makes the day better. A friend said to me this morning, "the thinhg about morning is it is full of the possibility of blooming" I like that. You just never know what good thing the day may bring.

I will never be happy until I stop having expectations of others in my life. It is a simple notion that applies to everyone and everything. Work and personal.It is my expectations that set me up for sadness and feelings of disappointment.The only person I can rightfully expect anything of, is me.

I just found out today that my job is safe. We had been told about 8 weeks ago, that some people would be let go during a restructuring of the biz, Thankfully, I still have a job. Out of 59 people in my dept, 17 people were let go. This worlds economy really sucks right now- SO many people out of work. I must say it- I am grateful to have a job. Whew!!

Went to the bed races on the street near my house. The area is known as Gulf Gate, and it has at least 30 bars in a 2 block area, and as many places to eat. The bed races were sponsored by the local bars, and many had entries. It was fun to watch all the crazy drunks, not counting myself, of course.






It rained half way through, so everybody crammed into the bars.I went home to dry off, and dry out.

I was so disappointed that Kris was voted thru to the finals. He doesn't have that good of a voice. I was hoping to see Danny Gokey in the finals, with Adam. I believe Adam will win, no matter who he goes up against, but Kris? Really?

As I was out walking the dog yesterday, it came to me the reason why I love the warm weather so much. When I look back on the fun times of my life, almost all of them took place during the warm weather months in WI. Starting way back in elementary school, going swimming at the Country Club with my parents, then dinner in the fancy dining room of the club- some of my best family memories, as a child. Summer vacations with my parents- they just always seemed to be in a better mood when it was warm. Then the teen years, hanging out with Michele, going to Summerfest. Then came my kids being born in June and August ( and of course my birthday in July). Outdoor family picnics and parties. Summer festivals, concerts and events. My best times were all during the summer.
These times won't be recreated, but they will be more often remembered as I am enveloped by the warmth that surrounds me here in Florida.

Here are my new decorations- the pic over the couch, the geckos and clock, the basket w/sticks, and a new lamp plus theres the round basket on the table in front of the new lamp.













I realize the picture over the couch is a little high up, but once I hung it and had put te holes in the while, I didnt want to move it.

Bought this this week. It's the first TV I have ever bought on my own. I painted the TV stand, doesnt show up very well in the pic, but the slats were left oak colored to give it a more modern feel

Happy Birthday to my grandson Oz. He is one year old today. Unbelievavle how fast the year went by.
